Participants Badge
Upon registration, you will receive yourname badge. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all Congress sessions and events.

 

Abstracts
The Congress abstracts are available in the Congress App and will also be published in
the June issue of the online supplement of the RAPM Journal; they can be accessed via
www.esra2022.com/program/abstracts/.
The journal will be accessible for everyone free of charge for 1 month (until the end of July). Following this the journal will only be available for ESRA members (www.esraeurope.org).

 

WIFI
Free WIFI will be available at the Congress without password. Please be aware that public WIFI capacity is always limited and therefore limited to email and web browsing activity. Network: ESRA2022

 

Speakers’ Ready Room
All Invited Speakers and Free Paper Oral Presenters are kindly requested to bring their PowerPoint presentation on a USB Memory stick and load it on one of the Congress computers in the Speakers’ Ready Room at least 1 hour before the start of the session.

The Speakers’ Ready Room is located in the Building M2 (CR-3).

Guest Attendance Policy
All event activities (including educational sessions, meals, exhibition hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees.
Non-registered guests are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration will be required at all times.
Children and Family members of faculties and awardees are allowed to attend the Opening Ceremony or the Awards sessions.
Specific badges for children and family members can be provided at the Registration
area.

 

ESRA Society & Events App
We are delighted to offer Congress participants great tools to help you get the most

Voting Sessions
There will be in-sessions voting in both the Pro/Con Debates and Problem Based Learning Discussion which will be done on Slido via the Congress App.

 

Ask the Speaker
During some “Ask the Expert” sessions, the Congress App will be offering the participants an option of anonymous “Ask the
Speaker” feature.

 

ESRA Going Green
We are committed to work towards a sustainable future and therefore pledged to get rid
of single-use non-recyclable plastics during the entire Congress. We will use biodegradable or recyclable options instead. In addition, we will limit paper printing and collect and recycle as much of the branded materials used around the venue as possible.

 

Social Media

ESRA community. A social media expert will be onsite sharing photos and quotes, so feel
free to engage on Twitter and Instagram @ESRA_Society.

 

Lunch and Coffee breaks
Lunch and coffee will be served at the times specified on the timetable, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Exhibition area. Please note that lunch will not be served on
Saturday.

Certificate of Attendance
All congress participants and workshop participants will receive their Certificate of Attendance via email after the Congress. Abstract presentation certificates will also be sent after the Congress.

Liability and Insurance
The Congress Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents
or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take
out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

 

Language
The official language of the Congress is English.

 

Praying Rooms/Family Room
There are Praying rooms and a Family room available at the venue. The rooms for praying are separated for women and men. You can find the directions on the floor plan.

accordance with CME/CPD accreditation criteria and standards for commercial support. Appropriate acknowledgement of all supporting organisations is made in the Congress Program, on the event website, and with signage during the event. Climate
The climate of Thessaloniki is Mediterranean and is partly influenced by the mainland. Thessaloniki is about 34 m above sea level, which also influences the climate. The rarity of extreme weather conditions and the favorable temperature characteristics of each of the four seasons provide the perfect opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy each change’s beauty and colors in the urban landscape. With approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, you can enjoy your stay in Thessaloniki at any time of the year.

Childcare Service
To all participants of the ESRA 2022 Congress in Thessaloniki, ESRA is providing complementary childcare service at your hotel, should you travel with your child.

At the Makedonia Palace, childcare service is managed by the agency Paramana https://www.paramana.eu/en/; the minimum booking for the service is of three hours and is available at any time if you place the inquiry ahead of your arrival (48h notice minimum).

Kindly inform the hotel that you are part of the ESRA 2022 group at the time of booking and all childcare related costs will be covered by ESRA.
